Paul Swenson

Track and Field Experience: Paul is one of the many alumni of SRV track and field who has come back to help coach his alma mater. He competed from 1972-1976 for San Ramon. He was a member of the former school record 4x400 relay team, making it to the state meet in 1975. He also is a member of the top ten in school history in the 800 meters. He competed at NCS MOC in 1976.
Coaching Experience: Paul coached CYO track for 10 years at St. Isidore's and St. Joan of Arc. He has been coaching at San Ramon for 17 years, including three years as head coach from 1995-1998. Paul has coached everything from sprints to hurdles to jumps and now the throws for the past four seasons. He admits that his claim to fame is coaching #2 all time 100 meter dash runner Tim Stevens in high school.
What You May Not Know: Paul is a science teacher at Charlotte Wood Middle School.
